All my life, but acutely since 2009, photography has been my way of making sense of the world, and maybe even leaving a little mark on it if I can. Along the way, I’ve been lucky to connect with incredible artists, share what I know, and watch others grow into their own creative voices (which has been just as rewarding as creating the work itself.)

For years, I worked hard to try to make a full career in commercial photography – for better or worse, and mostly the latter. It taught me a lot, but eventually, I knew I had to shift gears and focus on what really speaks to me. The path I’m on now? It’s not always smooth, but it feels true. It’s about chasing what I love, creating what matters to me, and hopefully, leaving behind something that resonates.

I’ve always worked best in my own bubble, but I’m not entirely closed off, I’d like to think. Art, for me, is about connection: sparking something in others, inspiring someone to look a little closer, love a little deeper, or just feel something real. If my work can do that, then I’m doing what I’m here to do, for whatever that’s worth.
